Registrato in tre giorni nel marzo 2025 nel leggendario Oceanway Studio A di Nashville, P&THT ha nuovamente collaborato con il produttore Tres Sasser e l'ingegnere del suono Joe Costa per un secondo album di grande impatto. È una band divertente da vedere dal vivo e mostrano questo lato del loro carattere avendo ognuno un soprannome da abbinare a quello di Piper: Steve "The Conductor" Eagon è descritto come il "Chief Riff Officer", il batterista Dave "Sexy Boy" Colella è il "Chief Rhythm Officer", il bassista Parker "Porkchop Funstick" Hawkins è il "Chief Groove Officer" e la tastierista Amy "The Professor" Frederick è la "Chief Soul Officer"! WILD IRIS BRASS BAND " WAY UP "

La WILD IRIS BRASS BAND, una band soul proveniente da Nashville, Tennessee, suona alcuni dei groove più funky delle brass band di questa parte di New Orleans! Co-fondata dal sassofonista Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band/Bela Fleck & the Flecktones), vincitore di 3 Grammy, e dal trombonista Ray Mason (Lauren Daigle, Elvis Costello, Antibalas, Taylor Swift), la Wild Iris è nata all'inizio del 2021 come augurio di compleanno a sorpresa per un amico. La musica suonava così bene che la band ha deciso di provarci e scrivere e registrare musica originale: è nata così la Wild Iris Brass Band. La Wild Iris è composta da Jeff Coffin al sax tenore, Ray Mason al trombone, Emmanuel Echem alla tromba, Jovan Quallo al sax contralto, Neil Konouchi al sousafono, Justin Amaral alla batteria e percussioni, e a completare la festa della brass band c'è Ryoko Suzuki al tamburello. I Wild Iris suonano musica divertente e generosa, con un groove così profondo che non hai altra scelta che sorridere, battere il piede, alzarti e ballare. Gli arrangiamenti dei fiati sono serrati e ricchi di sorprese. In "We're The Wild Iris", il trombettista Steven Bernstein si esibisce con un micidiale intermezzo di tromba slide elettrica. CARA BEING BLUE "FULL THROTTLE"

Cara Being Blue has entertained crowds of thousands at festivals and hundreds at night spots all over Metro Nashville and Middle Tennessee for several years with high energy Blues and Classic Rock originals and covers. This dynamic and engaging band is fronted by native Bostonian, Cara Lippman, a student of the late great Shirley Lewis, Regal Queen of the Blues of Boston. Cara relocated to Nashville to hone her band leading and live performance skills in Music City. In two short years in the local Blues scene, she has been bestowed the titles of “Jam Queen,” “Nashville Blues Society Jambassador,” “Empress of the Blues,” and has been nominated Best Blues Artist two years in a row by the Nashvillle Industry Music Awards (NIMA). Her studio and acoustic cuts are being played on internet radio all across the U.S. and overseas; her active fan base covers the globe. She hit #1 on for Blues music in Nashville on popular share-site ReverbNation, three times in 2015 and maintains a top ten spot to this day. MARKEY BLUE "THE BLUES ARE KNOCKIN'"

The Nashville based duo of Markey and Ric Latina have a combined performing/touring history that reads like a “who’s who” in the entertainment industry.  In late 2012 while both performing with other artists as “side men”, they found themselves booked on the same show at a small theater in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  After the show Latina reached out to Markey and suggested they join forces and possibly write a few songs for an EP to sell at venues.  The Ric Latina Trio consisted of several different “top of the list” touring musicians and Markey jumped at the chance to work with such accomplished performers.Soon it was apparent this was fast becoming more than a weekend project and the Markey Blue band was formed. The duo soon landed a small booking agent and started to gather a local following.  It was when Latina and Markey started to write their first song, they knew they were on to something.  Markey says, “It’s a rare thing to find, but the writing process comes so easily for us.  The ideas just flow.” And they kept flowing until Markey and Latina completed the raw material for their first album Hey Hey.  Randy Chortkoff, CEO of Delta Groove Records, signed Markey Blue as its first project to their new artist promotion department.Hey Hey was released at #1 on the Debut Blues Chart, reached #1 on both the Tennessee Roots Music Chart and Blues 411, held Top 10 on National Roots Music Chart and Top 25 on the Living Blues Chart.  The band was named one of the Top 10 Emerging Blues Artists to Watch in 2015; Markey was named One of the Top 10 Blues Women to Soar in 2014.  The album was nominated for the Blues Blast Awards Best Blues Debut Artist, the NIMA Awards Best Blues Artist and Best Live Performance, and was featured in blues/roots magazines world-wide.  The Duo was signed to both a national booking agency, Blues Pros Talent, and signed a TV/Multimedia Publishing deal for song placement in movies and television. TWICE YOUNG "LITTLE MIND ALIKE"

Sembra che Tyler, un ragazzo molto terra-terra, abbia messo il cuore e l'anima nella scrittura di questo CD. Cantante e songwriter principale per la band emergente dei Twice Young, che comprende anche Zach Myers e Seth Lourdon di Waynesboro. Un CD molto emotivo, che copre cosa è accaduto nella sua giovane vita, da incontrare belle donne a poi perdere molti familiari. Cresciuto nll'ascolto dei Zeppelin e i Pink Floyd, che i suoi genitori inculcavano quand'era giovane, è stato poi influenzato da band come i Coldplay, e band della nostra generazione. Di sè dice:" Ho imparato da ascoltare assoli di band famose, e ho poi potuto replicare e mettere il mio tocco in esso. Ad ogni performance, sono molto nervoso, cosi nervoso che quasi arrivo al punto di vomitare. Ho trascorso otto mesi per scrivere "Little Mind Alike", io e il produttore abbiamo lavorato due o tre volte la settimana, ogni giorno appena seduti e scrivendo".

ESCONDIDO "THE GOST OF ESCONDIDO"

Per i soli due membri di Escondido, Jessica Maros e Tyler James,  è stato necessario solo un giorno per registrare il loro album di debutto, "The Ghost of Escondido". In questi giorni hanno pubblicato un nuovo video, estratto dall'album pubblicato lo scorso Febbraio. Come influenza, sembrano rifarsi a Tom Petty e i Fleetwood Mac. Escondido sembra anche uscito dai classici spaghetti western, canzoni da fugaci pistoleri di Nashville, da ascoltare in pieno deserto sbiadito, con un bicchiere di whisky. Riempite con ariose melodie polverose, e anche spaziosi momenti di strumentazione, con una tromba sufficiente per sentirsi in epoca di Sergio Leone. Ha una bella qualità cinematografica, con un sound ricco di radici americane. ESCONDIDO
