CELSO SALIM BAND "TO THE END OF TIME"

Born in Brasília, the capital of Brazil, Celso Salim began studying guitar at age six but unlike other Brazilian kids of his age, at 12 he had already found his true passion, the Blues. “It’s really something that you feel; when I first listened to the Blues I knew that’s what I wanted to do. Before, I was only learning guitar ‘cause I loved music...” says Celso.It was music teacher and blues enthusiast Edu Brito, a Berklee College of Music graduate, who showed Celso his first records. The young guitarist began spending hours learning licks from great blues artists such as Muddy Waters, Blind Willie McTell, Freddie King, B.B. King and Johnny Winter, among many others.A little later he also started to get into Classic Rock’n’Roll and Southern Rock, listening to artists such as The Allman Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix, to name a few.After finishing high school in Brazil, Celso moved to Los Angeles at age 17 and began studying at the Musicians Institute. Thought by master of Country guitar, Steve Trovato, he became a skilled country music player as well.Jazz and Soul music were also a big influence on him.Celso is also well known for his great slide guitar playing.During the years he lived in the United States, he put a band together with harp player Darryl Carriere, which frequently featured in the Santa Monica and L.A. local scene. In 1999, Celso starts co-producing his first album with Rafael Cury.Celso graduates from Musicians Institute receiving the "Outstanding Student Award”, before he returns to his home country in the year 2000. MATTHEW RYAN "BOXERS"

This record is a bruising and beautiful Rock n Roll record. It was produced by Kevin Salem and has Kevin Salem and Brian Fallon (of The Gaslight Anthem) playing electric guitar with me throughout. My best friend Brian Bequette is playing bass, and the amazing Joe Magistro is playing drums. More details and news very soon! Matthew Ryan releases his pure, honest and moving album Boxers today. Recorded last winter at Applehead Studios in Woodstock, NY with producer and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Salem, The Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon on guitar, longtime collaborator Brian Bequette on bass, Joe Magistro (The Black Crowes, Rich Robinson) on drums, and of course, Ryan himself on vocals and guitars. “It was a beautiful brotherhood,” Ryan says of the recording process.The title track, “Boxers” immediately grabs you with its’ melody and the stellar production while “The First Heartbreak” tells a distressing story with upbeat musical backdrop. Boxers also tells tales of the working poor in “Suffer No More,” the callous culture of capitalists in “We Are Libertines,” and the two together in “Heaven’s Hill.”From the silvery burst of feedback that opens the record, to the dissolving vérité of the last notes of the final song, Ryan writes songs that make you think and delivers them with an emotion that makes you feel. THE KINGMAKERS "CHICAGO HI STYLE"

The Kingmakers una Band costituita nel 2007, del Canada. Suonano un blues jump combinato a jive. Hanno appena pubblicato il loro quarto album "Chicago Hi​-​Style". Ma c'è anche boogie e buon vecchio rock and roll, per questa band, che ha registrato presso il leggendario SUN Studio, il luogo di nascita del rock and roll in Memphis, dove ci sono stati i pionieri del rock and roll come Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis e Carl Perkins. La band dispone di Clark Lawlor (voce), John Cormier (chitarra), Stephen K. Donnelly (contrabbasso) e Anastasios Basiliadis (batteria). Questo cd della band è formato da originali brani di scrittura, che portano un suono fresco per uno stile vintage, avendo ricevuto comunque delle ottime recensioni dai fans e dalla stampa. ROOMFUL OF BLUES "45 LIVE"

Nell'imminente occasione del loro quarantacinquesimo anniversario, i Roomful of Blues, la band di Rhode Island, rilascia il nuovo CD dal vivo "45 Live". Per la registrazione, la band ha organizzato una festa di tre giorni nel marzo del 2013, presso uno dei loro luoghi preferiti, The Ocean Mist, in Matunuck, Rhode Island. L'album risultante, è il 45 Live, il coronamento di successi dei Roomful of Blues, per la potenza vocale e strumentale della band. I Roomful of Blues celebravano il jump blues, RB e musica rock ' n' roll dell'epoca d'oro, della fine degli anni quaranta e cinquanta. Ispirati dallo spirito delle bande rivoluzionarie del decennio della post-seconda guerra mondiale, essi hanno ridato nuova vita alle canzoni d'epoca. Per gli ultimi due decenni, sono stati guidati da Chris Vachon, uno dei chitarristi più sottovalutati nel blues. Scatenati nella sezione fiati, con Rich Lataille al tenore e al sax alto, e il terrificante nuovo vocalist, Phil Pemberton, si possono considerare, una delle band di swing blues più esuberante e chiassose, sin dal 1967. In 45 anni hanno miscellato swing, rock and roll, jump blues, Boogie-Woogie e soul, guadagnando cinque nomination ai Grammy Award e molti altri riconoscimenti, tra cui sette Blues Music Awards (con una vittoria come Blues Band Of The Year nel 2005), ed infine il Down Beat International Critics Poll, li ha selezionati due volte come migliore Blues Band.  ROOMFUL OF BLUES

SAUDIA YOUNG "SAUDIA YOUNG"

Saudia Young cantante e attrice, nata a New York e trasferitasi a Berlino nel 2006,  per trovare il suo interiore sia di Marlene Dietrich che di Josephine Baker. Ma trovò la propria voce unica, sui palchi della stessa città. Con la sua band gioca a cantare una miscela di swing, blues e Dark Rock Roll. Una voce sensuale e narrazione comica, oltre che un ottima musicalità della propria band, aggiungendo cosi una bella piuma al suo cappello. Saudia Young appare con la band al completo: Florian Von Frieling (chitarra), Dirk Schmigotzki (contrabasso) e Fabio Duwentester (batteria). Saudia Young ha studiato recitazione con Wynn Handman e danza presso il Joffrey Ballet School e il teatro di Alvin Ailey American Dance di New York City. SAUDIA YOUNG
