KHRUANGBIN

EARL T AND THE TATTERED HEARTS "DEUCE"
Earl T and the Tattered Hearts started out as solo project to write,
record and distribute original blues based material. It quickly ended up
being a lot more...Before the first album was released, the band was put together and
was playing the Houston club scene. Comprised of Earl T on guitar and
vocals, Don Whitt (Artimus Pyle) guitar and vocals, Quentin Calva
(Milton Hopkins) on bass and Mike Lawson (Billy Joe Shaver) on drums,
these guys haven't looked back.Their first release "Daddy's Home" in 2015 began receiving airplay as
soon as released and the title cut quickly became a crowd and radio
favorite. Full of great songs, "Daddy's Home" established the Tattered
Heart sound: killer grooves, great guitar hooks and intelligent (and
often humorous) lyrics.Almost immediately, they began working on a second album while
performing through the first part of 2016. The second album "Deuce" was
completed in May of 2016 and builds on the concept of excellent original
blues based songs but expands into Mussel Shoals styled R&B
flavors, acoustic country blues and upbeat rockers.EARL T AND THE TATTERED HEARTS

DEPARTURE AVE "YARN"
Departure Ave. were born in Rome in the summer of 2012. Six months later their first “All the Sunset in a Cup” appears. The
album, self-released, immediately received excellent reviews from the insiders and turned a light on the band. After
the album was released the band has begun the collaboration with Bomba
Dischi, the independent label which released “Yarn”.
Yarn is the second album by Departure Ave.
A rock album, oblique and visual, jazz coloured but also characterised
by different tinges and suggestions that recall electronic and reggae
music.
This album is a collection of twelve fables, each taking place in a
different setting, brought together by the fact that they have all been
conceived in the same place. DEPARTURE AVE

PAUL THORN "TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED"
Paul Thorn's new album "Too Blessed To Be Stressed" stakes out
new territory for the popular roots-rock songwriter and performer. "In
the past, I've told stories that were mostly inspired by my own life,"
the former prizefighter and literal son of a preacher man offers. "This
time, I've written 10 songs that express more universal truths, and I've
done it with a purpose: to make people feel good."That's really
Thorn's mission for Too Blessed To Be Stressed, which can be heard as a
running conversation about life between Thorn and listeners - a
conversation leavened with gentle insights, small inspirations, and
plenty of cheer. "I wrote these songs hoping they might put people in a
positive mindset and encourage them to count their own blessings, like I
count mine," Thorn observes. "There's no higher goal I could set for
myself than to help other people find some happiness and gratitude in
their lives." PAUL THORN

MATTHEW RYAN "BOXERS"
This record is a bruising and beautiful Rock n Roll record. It was produced by Kevin Salem and has Kevin Salem and Brian Fallon (of The Gaslight Anthem) playing electric guitar with me throughout. My best friend Brian Bequette is playing bass, and the amazing Joe Magistro is playing drums. More details and news very soon! Matthew Ryan releases his pure, honest and moving album Boxers today. Recorded last winter at Applehead Studios in Woodstock, NY with producer and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Salem, The Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon on guitar, longtime collaborator Brian Bequette on bass, Joe Magistro (The Black Crowes, Rich Robinson) on drums, and of course, Ryan himself on vocals and guitars. “It was a beautiful brotherhood,” Ryan says of the recording process. The title track, “Boxers” immediately grabs you with its’ melody and the stellar production while “The First Heartbreak” tells a distressing story with upbeat musical backdrop. Boxers also tells tales of the working poor in “Suffer No More,” the callous culture of capitalists in “We Are Libertines,” and the two together in “Heaven’s Hill.”From the silvery burst of feedback that opens the record, to the dissolving vérité of the last notes of the final song, Ryan writes songs that make you think and delivers them with an emotion that makes you feel. I’m honored to have been a part of his newest record!” Says The Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon. MATTHEW RYAN

DAVE FIELDS "ALL IN"
Dave
grew up in New York City the son of a noted gifted composer arranger
producer Sammy “Forever” Fields. From the time Dave was a young child he
grew up in his father’s recording studio being exposed to the likes of
Sammy Kahn, Rupert Holmes and Stevie Wonder. Being raised by nanny who
was from Waycross Georgia,
an eclectic dash of southern culture was mixed into Dave’s persona. In a
strange twist of fate, his sister Launa a gifted musician in her own
right, lost her hearing by the time she was 14. Witnessing his sister’s
struggles in a hearing world profoundly affected Dave. “After seeing my
sister’s agony from being discriminated against for her condition I was
determined to never let that kind of injustice happen again in my
presence. I always felt that one of my missions in life was to be able
to communicate with people and to listen to them. It’s one of the
beautiful things about being a human being. We all want to connect with
one another”. Nowhere is that feeling more evident than in Dave’s music.
His gift of making his guitar talk combined with his uncanny way of
weaving many different styles of music together is an example of how we
as humans are a fabric of many different cultures and walks of life.
Dave, “growing up in NYC I was exposed to so many different foods,
music, cultures… It was truly a melting pot of humanity. I believe I am
the kind of artist that reflects what I see and what I’m exposed to. As a
musician I was put on this this earth to spread joy, love and life to
everyone. I try to do that what every note I play, with every lyric I
write and sing. If I do anything less than that I feel like I’m letting
the listener down”. Dave’s
musical path has been quite a journey, after attending Berklee College
of music, Dave was immersed in the NYC music scene as a first call
guitarist and multi instrumentalist. Dave, “ My Father made sure that I
could play a lot of different instruments and styles so I could make a
living. Unlike many blues musicians, I was raised to be a musical “hit
man”. I got to do sessions with many famous musicians and producers like
Tommy James & Ahmed Ertegen (to name a few) and even was on staff
of one of the top five jingle companies in NY LOOK MUSIC”. But Dave was
more than just a craftsman, his passion for music could not be satisfied
with just being a writer for hire. Dave, “ I made the decision in 2006
that I was going to make a stand in my life. That I was going to do what
was really important to me. Honestly…. I was too scared in my younger
days! LOL! So I set out on m new career path, being Dave Fields the
artist. Another thing was I had backed up and produced so many other
artists and one day it dawned on me, why am I doing this for everyone
else? Why can’t I do it FOR ME!”. DAVE FIELDS

KELLEY HUNT "THE BEAUTIFUL BONES"
In some ways Roots R&B/Americana singer/songwriter/piano player/guitarist KELLEY HUNT is a rarity and a challenge to the music industry's penchant for easy artist definitions -- a woman who has muscled her way onto the scene on her own terms with an identity steeped in blues/roots/gospel traditions and a refreshing originality. She makes music with it's righteous roots intact that also crosses boundaries, has an open-minded, exploratory attitude and takes on social and political issues. Together with a commanding, passionate stage presence and superior vocal, keyboard and songwriting skills she has earned the respect of critics and fans across North America and Europe.Born in Kansas City, Hunt’s love for her craft was ignited listening to early blues, R&B, roots rock, jazz and Gospel influences -- artists like Ruth Brown, Mahalia Jackson, Billie Holiday, Ann Peebles, Ray Charles, Dinah Washington, Aretha Franklin, Charles Brown, Wanda Jackson and a crossection of the New Orleans/St. Louis/KC piano traditions of Professor Longhair, Toots Washington, Johnnie Johnson and Kansas City masters Jay McShann and Mary Lou Williams among others. Before that came the sound of her mother singing jazz and blues - her first musical memories - and the influence of her New Orleans Gospel singer grandmother. Reminders of these very traditional influences are evident in Kelley’s live performances and recordings but the lyrics, soul and passion are all her own. Her career path so far has been a story of fierce independence, incredible will, unassailable cred as a blistering live performer and hard-won accomplishment. That narrative includes 1500+ performances with appearances on a long list of premier North American and International festival stages, six times on American Public Media's 'A Prairie Home Companion', nearly 150,000 indie units sold on her own label and critical praise reflecting her conviction from the outset to make her path in the roots music world not just as a performer, but as a forward-thinking songwriter as well.Hunt's world has not been short on substantive, impressive critical praise, including a fresh swell of kudos for the new generation of music first unveiled on her 2008 88 RECORDS release MERCY (EER0804, her 4th commercial release): "Kelley Hunt resides among those bluesy, soulful piano players who write great songs." "...the main attraction here is Hunt, whose rich, soulful voice is an instrument in and of itself, with a toughness that shines on cuts like "You Got To Be The Vessel." "Her piano playing and songwriting also function at the highest levels." "Emerald City" is a brilliant political statement…” -VINTAGE GUITAR. “… Her fourth release "MERCY" shifts the focus to her songwriting skills and immense voice." "...a superb live performer, immediately drawing you to the power of her music and her voice... " -ELMORE. "Surprises don't often crop up on the well-trodden blues circuit. So welcome Kelley Hunt. This Kansan is a full-blown phenomenon: Powerhouse singer, hardboogieing pianist, polished songwriter…” -MINNEAPOLIS STAR-TRIBUNE. “…the freshest slant on classic R&B you're likely to hear these days. She's a tough woman who makes a hip and burly sound." - WESTWORD Denver.

MELINDA "WITNESS"
From an old steel mill city once described as “hell with the lid off”
comes a singer/songwriter with red-hot fire in her soul. Melinda is her
name, and this Pittsburgh-born artist could well be described as the
belle of blues-infused rock. She’s been raising roofs for years, from
Boston to Los Angeles, with her four alarm voice and earthy stage
presence. No gimmicks, no girl-pop. Just full-tilt rock and roll.Melinda is one of those rare artists who found their calling at a young
age. She picked up an electric guitar at 13 and began soaking up the
sounds and styles that would influence her singing and inspire her
writing: the desperate blues wail of Etta James, the swampy growl of
Janis Joplin, the searing guitar licks of Jimi Hendrix, the raw
intensity of The Rolling Stones.By 15 she was sharing the stage with notable Pittsburgh musicians who
recognized her inborn passion for rock and blues music. She paid her
dues in every conceivable venue – from ballrooms to ballparks to brick
alley bars – honing her skills and developing a style all her own.The toil and sweat paid off. Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of
Music awarded her the World Tour Scholarship, as well as the Aerosmith
Endowment Award for outstanding achievement in music. She went on to
co-found a Boston-area all-girl rock band, Mass Ave, that wowed
audiences and piqued the interest of major record labels. But Melinda knew she was destined to make her mark as a solo artist. She
keeps on rolling – on stages and studios around the country – and is
poised to become a bona fide presence in the rock world. Her 2010 EP
“Don’t Be Sweet” received favorable reviews and considerable air play.
She wrote or co-wrote four of the disc’s five songs, collaborating with
Grammy Award winning singer, guitarist, producer Kevin Bowe on “The Hard
Way.” Billboard’s World Song Contest recognized her for the EP’s title
track. Next up is a full length CD, scheduled for release in early 2014. MELINDA

NICK MOSS BAND "TIME AIN'T FREE"
Nick Moss and his band have been
featured performers at blues festivals across the globe but it's at home
in Chicago – the capital city of the blues – where he and his band get
the ultimate stamp of approval from one Hall of Famer and blues icon Buddy Guy.
Music fans the world over come to his famous club where they'll often
find Moss playing that prestigious stage, booked by the icon himself
because "Nick is a favorite at my club, Legends. He always works hard to
please the audience." Other luminaries are equally effusive in their
praise, rare in the competitive world of guitar gods, as none other than
former Roomful of Blues bandleader and distinguished solo artist Ronnie Earl declares "Nick Moss is my favorite guitarist," high praise from one of the greatest practitioners of the instrument. It's that ability to please, entertain, and amaze audiences with his staggering guitar skills that make the 16-time Blues Music Award nominee one of the top draws on the blues circuit and most exciting, dynamic performers working today. Noted author and historian Bill Dahl
has praised Nick's "mastery of the classic Chicago sound" and declared
him "a prolific songwriter, and the most exciting blues guitarist we
have around here." That's quite an accolade from a man who has
interviewed icons like Bo Diddley, written liner notes and overseen
massive retrospectives of giants like Freddie King and Sam Phillips'
historic Sun Records label, and written a respected book about the
history of Motown.Nick Moss demonstrates his mastery of the classic Chicago sound and so much more onstage — and has also been recognized by the International Songwriting Competition
for his ability to add amazing new songs to the venerable blues canon.
His creativity, which has advanced his sound to incorporate new styles
and ideas, has made an impression on blues master Jimmy Thackery, who says, "Nick is at it again, pushing the evolution of his music, stylistically as well as sonically." NICK MOSS BAND

Christos Anestopoulos born in Patras,Greece in 1971.
He study classic guitar and he got diploma on the instrument.
He study electric guitar and he got lessons and clinics from many great jazz guitarist. He is a teacher of Guitar. He has compose music for dance and theater, movies and he release two albums with his music``swinging over the surfaces`` and ``wish you could stay``There’s no avoiding the influence of Bill Frisell on this recording. And considering that fellow-guitarist Anestopoulos names two separate tracks “Friselland” indicates he’s fully invested in Frisell’s sound as both musician and fan. As a huge Frisell fan, this album totally floated my boat. There are tracks that sound eminently like Frisell pieces. There are tracks that sound nothing like Frisell pieces, but the use of electronics and looping and effects, and a strangely ominous jazz-folk hybrid put it smack dab in the middle of Frisell territory. A couple tracks incorporate some elements of Anestopoulos’ native Greece, and nothing about that breaks the album’s cohesion. Kind of jazz, kind of folk, kind of rock, all of them but none… music with personality and dramatic expressionism. Not just for fans of Frisell. A series of guests contribute to this album, on a variety of wind instruments, strings, and percussion. Very cool. CHRISTOS ANESTOPOULOS

CARSIE BLANTON "NOT OLD, NOT NEW"
Here’s what you ought to know about me. First off, I love songs. I love pop songs, folk songs, jazz, soul, and rock songs. I write whatever kind of song gets my point across most clearly. My point, usually, is about the miraculous, ridiculous, confusing joy of being alive.I love American pop music from every decade (Louis Armstrong to Beyonce), any folk music with guts (Nick Lowe, Patty Griffin), and just about anything that swings, grooves, or rocks (Billie Holiday, The Band, Donny Hathaway, Elvis Costello). Contenders for my favorite song of all time include "Do You Know What it Means to Miss New Orleans?", "Suzanne", and "F**k You".I believe that music is magic, and everybody needs it. That’s why I give mine away.I live in a pink house in New Orleans. I’ve got two dogs and a studio out back called The Watermelon. I grew up on a defunct cattle farm in Luray, Virginia. At sixteen I fled the coop to Eugene, Oregon. I cut my musical teeth in Philadelphia. I’ve played shows in most of North America and Europe, and soon, Australia. I’ve toured with Paul Simon, The Wood Brothers, and The Weepies. I ran a crazy-successful Kickstarter campaign. I’m an unschooler, a sex blogger, and a Lindy Hopper. I find four-leaf-clovers.If I died, and somebody came up to me in the afterlife and said, “What were the best parts?”, I’d have to say songs, sex, creativity, raw oysters, bravery, small children, and the feeling you get when somebody is utterly in tune with you, like the same spirit is kissing both your faces. BLACK SORROWS "CERTIFIED BLUE"
Joe Camilleri, writer of milestone Australian songs such as So Young,
Hit And Run, Shape I’m In, Hold On To Me, Harley and Rose, Chained To
The Wheel and Never Let Me Go, has given his life to making music in
this country. Leader of two of Australia’s most successful bands, Jo Jo
Zep and The Falcons and The Black Sorrows, Joe’s music has become part
of Australian music culture. Joe was inducted along with other members
of the Falcons, into the Australian Recording Industry (ARIA Hall of
Fame) in 2007.In 1975 Joe, a self taught musician from Melbourne’s western suburbs,
formed Jo Jo Zep and The Falcons, a band who swung from R’n’B to reggae,
power pop and ska. Over a period of 8 years The Falcons amassed
enviable sales and radio airplay and ultimately epitomised the era. Jo
Jo Zep and The Falcons toured the country relentlessly and became one of
Australia’s finest live outfits. The band also toured the USA.In the early ‘80s Camilleri and friends started up a new band, The Black
Sorrows. Originally a ‘just for the fun of it’ outfit, The Sorrows have
released 12 albums over the past fifteen years and sold well over a
million albums world-wide. The Black Sorrows has always been an elastic
band and over its life has been home to some 32 of Australia’s finest
musical talents. Vika and Linda Bull, Jen Anderson, Stephen Hadley,
Michael Barker, Peter Luscombe, Nick Smith, Ross Hannaford and James
Black (just to name a few) have all been part of the fertile Joe
Camilleri/Black Sorrows fold and all have gone on to play with the best
of the best in this country. JOE CAMILLERI
