Ammons (anche con la sezione ritmica elettrica) è in ottima forma in "Lady Sings the Blues", "God Blеss the Child", "Stаngе Fruit" e "Fine and Mellow". WILL VINSON "FOUR FORTY ONE"

Il 2019 è un anno fondamentale per l'altista Will Vinson. BOBBY HURRICANE SPENCER "HURRICANE UNLEASHED"

Vocalist, saxophonist and songwriter/arranger, bluesman Bobby Hurricane Spencer started his musical career in Oakland but now calls Los Angeles home. He cut his teeth in the Chitlin’ Circuit of the Bay Area, anchored dead center in the horn section of the funk bands of Johnny Tolbert and De Thangs and Marvin Holmes and the Uptights.Spencer played in such historic 7th Street soul pumping clubs as Al's House of Smiles, the Showcase, the Sportsman, Ester's Orbit Room and the Continental Club.  Later came the Shalamar and Troyce Key's famous Eli's Mile  High Club.One night on the bandstand, after a particularly hot sax solo, J.J. Bad Boy Jones turned to the tenor man and said, "Bob, you the Hurricane!". It stuck and that’s what he’s been called ever since.His trademark sound can be found on records by Timex Social Club, Sonny Rhodes, JJ Bad Boy Jones, Jimmy McCracklin, just to name a few and his original music appears on the Grammy nominated Force of Nature album by Koko Taylor.When not busy as a session player in Oakland, recording for Fantasy Records’ Ray Shanklin with Little Johnny Taylor, Rodger Collins and others, you could find Spencer playing behind such legends as Etta James, the Whispers, Carla Thomas, Lowell Fulsom, and ZZ Hill and opening for musicians like Bobby Blue Bland, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and Smokey Robinson. A little known fact, Rolling Stone magazine recently revealed that an early festival where Spencer performed was an historic event as documented in the Untold and Deeply Stoned Story of the First U.S. Rock Festival where the Doors, Byrds and nearly 30 other bands made history at Fantasy Fair & Magic Mountain on Mt. A follow up to the Elias’s successful 2012 release Church on Monday, LIVE at the Gallery captures 2 nights in front of a packed house at Austin’s famous Continental Club Gallery on S Congress. Featuring long-time musical director for Ray Charles, Dr. James Polk on Hammond B3 organ as well as former Joey DeFrancesco band-mate Jake Langley on guitar, the band delivers a classic live jazz recording with an energy and enthusiasm that electrifies the audience. Building on their 17 month weekly residency at the club, where the crowds have grown as has the band’s intensity, Elias and company play inspired, no doubt driven by their passionate listeners, many of whom show up week after week to get recharged by the music. Church on Monday, as the band and the Monday night residency is now called in Austin, started off 2014 by playing Alejandro Escovedo’s acclaimed United Sounds of Austin show produced at the ACL Moody Theater. The band shared the bill with Joe Ely, Lucinda Williams and others and “brought down the house” says Rolling Stone in their review of the show. HIDEAKI AOMORI "GLUE"

As a classical clarinetist, Hideaki Aomori has recorded two classical albums as the Pierce-Aomori duo,is a member of y Music, and has worked with the Philip Glass Ensemble, Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra, The Knights, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, and ACME (American Contemporary Music Ensemble). As a multi-instrumentalist, Hideaki mostly works in jazz, indie, theater, and film music.  Some of his recent activities include recording his jazz album, Glue (tenor sax, clarinet) , a tour with Gabriel Kahane (clarinets), playing Ghost the Musical (saxes, clarinets, flute, piccolo) and performing Schonberg's Pierrot Lunaire and Messiaen's End of Time Quartet with ACME. Hideaki has conducted masterclasses and individual lessons at universities and schools in the US and abroad.When he is not touring, Hideaki can be heard playing Matilda on broadway. MICHELSON MORLEY "AETHER DRIFT"

Electronics and acoustic instruments combine with an evolutionary approach to improvisation to create scientifically aural magic.Born in London, raised in Bristol, Cambridge educated, Jake McMurchie has been an influential member of the thriving South West jazz scene for nearly two decades. His distinctive sound, imagination and melodic drive have made him a key member of many of the most innovative and exciting bands to emerge from the Bristol area, notably Get The Blessing, What Four and the contemporary big band Ultrasound. When not touring with GTB, Jake is a key figure in the South West’s vibrant jazz scene playing with rising stars Emily Wright, Nick Malcolm, Mike Willox, The Magnificent Seven, and with saxophone quartet Venn. He has also played with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Portishead and with the great Portuguese singer Fernando Tordo at the National Theatre in Lisbon and in the Cape Verdean islands.Growing up near Nottingham, Mark initially studied piano from age seven and then later percussion, receiving tuition from Royal Philharmonic and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra percussionists. Learning from master drummers Ralph Salmins, Jeff Hamilton, Jim Chapin and Dave Wickens, Mark was offered a place at Trinity College of Music to study for a Masters degree in jazz performance.Will’s dynamic and comprehensive approach to the double bass has seen him chosen by Bobby Wellins, Alan Barnes, David Newton, Tina May and Anita Wardell.Dan Messore is a broad-minded and eclectic musician. Saxophone player with a degree in classical music, specialized in the United States on Berklee College of Music (Boston). In his career he has had many successes in different areas of music. From classical music, popular music, jazz, soul, funk, playing in various ensembles from small groups to orchestras, from club music (even playing on the street) to concert and sport halls, in fifteen years of his career, Igor Gerzina has worked with almost all important people on the Croatian music scene. Some of them are known outside Croatia such as: jazz vibraphonist Bosko Petrovic, jazz composer Miljenko Prohaska, guitarist Elvis Stanic, arranger Silvije Glojnaric. He has had more than 70 discography releases, around thirty music videos, the whole line of television shows and programs, appearances as a guest player in radio shows.
